In founding the Goldmund Festival, the internationally renowned Goldmund Quartet has established a new chamber music festival in Bavaria’s Allgäu region. Founded in 2025 and held annually at the historic Kloster Irsee, the festival reflects the ensemble’s artistic identity and distinctive sound, shaped by the legendary Stradivari instruments of the Paganini Quartet on loan from the Nippon Music Foundation.
